Today I wanted to spotlight a favorite website of mine.
A little site known as Moda Bake Shop.
Have you looked there? If not, you should! It’s great!
It has great craft ideas, tips, links to other crafty sites. It’s awesome. All there for you in one place!
Let me show you a little tour of why I like Moda Bake Shop so much.
1. the Bakery
Here you will find what makes up each different type of precut. {*keep in mind, this is for moda fabrics}
For example:
A Fat Quarter Bundle = Contains one of each print in a collection – Each fat quarter is 18” x 22”
Fat Eighth Bundles =Contains one of each print in a collection – Each fat eighth is 9” x 22”
It goes on to explain layer cakes, charm packs, jelly rolls, etc. So great to explain all these different “desserts”:)
Here you can find different charts to help with ways to cut things like charms and layer cakes and how many squares {or pieces} needed for basic settings of quilts.
I love this part cause it helps me cut down on my mathematical thinking {which I tend to be off on :/}
3. {I saved the best for last!} Recipes
Here is where you hit the jackpot. You can find patterns from apparel to quilts, from bags & totes to home decor. Just click and browse endless patterns and pictures of awesome crafts. They even let you know difficulty level if you are debating whether you can handle something or not.
I really can’t say enough good about this site. You have GOT to check it out! It always has some fun projects for that latest Moda line of fabric you just bought:)
Enjoy Baking!

I LOVE this site. It’s my first stop to looking for new patterns (and blogs to read).
