Vanessa over at V and Co. has put together a great tutorial on how to make a muslin bag filled with rice to then put in a cute fabric cover for your feet warmer.
*If you have extra layer cake scraps {10″ x 10″} you can also make a quick little bag, prefect for little kiddos. I just folded mine in half and then filled with rice. They are much less stable than this tutorial but still work. My kids love to throw them in their beds at night.
Let’s no forget about how cold our hands get in this frigid air! Here’s a great tutorial for quick homemade Hand Warmers from V and CO as well.
*these are more like how I have made my larger rice bags, and they work great!
Stay warm out there and enjoy crafting!
